Getting Started Checklist
You’ve got plenty going on, so here are some suggestions for getting started this term:
- Create your UCI Canvas course space(s) on EEE+ GrandCentral
- Add any Teaching Assistants through the EEE+ Assistants Manager
- Send an introductory message to your students with EEE+ ClassMail
- *New: Provide waitlisted students access to your Canvas course space(s) and ClassMail lists with the Waitlist Access Options Tool
- Upload your syllabus to the syllabus browser on EEE+ GrandCentral
New MyEEE+ Now Available
Check out MyEEE+, the powerful homebase for Educational Technology! On this new and enhanced version of the classic MyEEE tool, you can view your classes, access educational technology tools including both UCI Canvas and the EEE+ Class Mail lists, and view important announcements. Support for Waitlisted Students in Canvas and EEE+ Mail Lists
You asked for it, and we heard you. As of today, you can now provide waitlisted students access to UCI Canvas and your EEE+ ClassMail Lists using the new Waitlisted Access Options Tool.
Ed Discussion Now Available

Updates to EEE+ GrandCentral Course Space Creation
When you create your UCI Canvas course spaces this time around, you may notice some changes to the workflow. These were designed, in part, to clarify what it means to create combined vs. separate individual course spaces.
Student Duo Messaging
Duo multi-factor authentication is now required for all UCI students. Learn more about how this change may affect your classroom.
UCI TeachAnywhere
Guidance on transitioning back from remote teaching this quarter (including assessments, grading, and more) and resources on teaching are available on UCI TeachAnywhere.
Legacy Final Evaluations Results
Results for department-activated official final evaluations are now available in EEE+ Evaluations as far back as 2002. Learn more about accessing legacy final evaluations results.
Missing Classes on EEE+ GrandCentral, or MyEEE+?
Are you missing classes that you feel you should be associated with? Try using the Registrar’s SOCC Finder tool to see if you have been properly associated to that course. If you’re off campus, the campus VPN is required to access this tool.

EdTechTools Updates
Have you ever wondered if a particular software tool is available to use in UCI Canvas? Or maybe you want to boost inclusion, or accessibility in your course but you don’t know where to start. Take a look at EdTechTools! This site contains a list of tools currently available to use with UCI Canvas (and some that you can use outside of Canvas as well). It also has recommendations for popular tools, a schedule of training webinars, and previous recordings. Don’t see what you’re looking for?
