What is going to happen when waitlists close on 10/8?
Instructors who granted Canvas/ClassMail access via the new Waitlist Access Options Tool
Any student still on the waitlist will automatically be removed from your Canvas course(s) and ClassMail list(s) when the Registrar deactivates waitlists at 5PM on October 8th. Any student who has enrolled into the class will continue to have access.
Instructors who added students to Canvas manually using the Additional Students role
These students will continue to have access until you manually remove them.
Students
Your instructor may have provided temporary Canvas access to waitlisted students during the first two weeks of Fall. This does not necessarily mean that you are enrolled in the course. Make sure to visit StudentAccess to verify that you are enrolled.
