Piazza is No Longer Available in UCI Canvas

Piazza was supported in UCI Canvas from September 1, 2020 to June 18, 2021 and is no longer available. This tool was removed because it was found to be incongruous with UCI’s expectations and policies regarding student data and privacy. 

Concerned about the potential impact to student privacy, OIT initiated a search for a tool that better aligned with UCI’s policies and educational technology goals. OIT and OVPTL leadership, in consultation with educational technology specialists across campus, have selected Ed Discussion as its replacement.
